Circle Public Schools is proud to announce that it has received accreditation with no recommendations for improvement from the Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE), a significant milestone for the district and its community. This recognition is a testament to the district’s commitment to providing high-quality education for its students as well as demonstrating that the district has met rigorous standards in areas such as curriculum, instruction, and student support.
The accreditation process is a five-year comprehensive evaluation measured on the Kansans Can outcomes of Social-Emotional Growth, Kindergarten Readiness, Individual Plans of Study, High School Graduation, and Postsecondary Success. Circle Public Schools underwent this evaluation process, which verified that the school's programs are aligned with state standards and that the school provides a safe and supportive learning environment for its students.
"We are thrilled to have received accreditation from the Kansas State Department of Education," said Superintendent Don Potter. "This achievement is a reflection of the hard work and dedication of our staff, students, and community members. We are committed to providing the best possible education for our students, and this accreditation is a recognition of that commitment."
The KSDE accreditation is a recognition of Circle Public Schools' commitment to excellence, and it affirms the school's role in providing quality education to its students. Accreditation is a vital part of the school's continuous improvement process, and it ensures that the school is meeting high standards of quality and effectiveness.
This cycle of Circle Public Schools’ accreditation status is effective July 1, 2023, through June 30th, 2028. The process to seek further accreditation has already begun with the strategic planning process which will guide Circle Public Schools through the next five-year accreditation cycle.
