October 30th marked the first meeting of the new Superintendent’s Student Advisory Team, where 18 students from Circle High School and Circle Middle School came together to share their voices. The goal? To team up with district leadership and have a say in decisions that shape their school experience.
Led by Superintendent Don Potter, the group wasted no time getting down to business. They established their norms, set up bylaws, and even elected officers—all in their first meeting! This team is all about making a difference and ensuring that every student’s perspective is heard.
The team is set to meet again on November 13th and will continue meeting monthly. Stay tuned—there’s lots more to come. We can't wait to see how these Thunderbirds thrive as part of the SSAT!
