At Circle Public Schools, we believe strong leadership is key to creating exceptional learning experiences for our students. To continue building on our district’s vision and momentum, we’re excited to announce a series of administrative moves that reflect our commitment to student success, staff support, and school improvement.
Tony Holguin, current Circle Middle School Principal, will step into the role of Assistant Superintendent upon Assistant Superintendent Michael Janzen’s retirement this summer. With years of dedicated leadership, Tony’s experience and passion for education will play a critical role in advancing district-wide initiatives and support continued growth across the district.
Aaron Lechien, now serving as Circle High School Assistant Principal, will take on the role of Circle Middle School Principal. Aaron’s leadership style and dedication to student achievement will continue to drive a positive and supportive learning environment at Circle Middle School.
John Bumm, currently Circle Middle School Assistant Principal and Athletic Director, will transition to Circle High School Assistant Principal. With a strong background in student engagement and extracurricular programs, John is well-positioned to foster academic and activity-based growth at the high school level.
Superintendent Don Potter shared his excitement about these transitions, stating, “As a district, we are incredibly proud to reward the dedication and leadership of these three outstanding administrators. Their promotions reflect not only their hard work and commitment to our students, staff, and community but also our belief in fostering growth from within. We are confident that in their new roles, they will continue to drive excellence and innovation in our schools, ensuring the best possible outcomes for all students.”
These shifts allow us to leverage the strengths of our experienced administrators while ensuring continuity and progress in our schools. We’re confident that these leaders will continue making a meaningful impact in their new roles.
