Circle High School’s Fan of the Week is Mr. Richard Ketterman!
Richard is from the Augusta and Douglass area. Though he grew up in Augusta, Richard attended, and ultimately graduated from, Douglass High School.
Richard’s career involved serving as a maintenance man at Coastal Refinery for many years. He moved on to continue his career at Raytheon until his retirement. He has kept himself busy in his retirement with his daytime hobbies of yard work around his small acreage outside of Towanda and tinkering with small engines. He’s known to work on and repair lawnmowers and weed eaters---often getting them running better than they had ever worked before! Richard enjoys hunting and is also known to clear a pool table and give anyone a run for their money when it comes to a good card game!
Richard is an avid sports fan. Though baseball is his favorite sport, he keeps up on all the records and stats of every sport. Richard and his late wife, Charlotte, were married for 56 years. Richard’s greatest joys have been supporting the many activities of his own kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids as they have attended The Circle School District. He is proud of the educational and extracurricular opportunities offered by The Circle School District. Anyone who has attended any of the District’s activities is sure to tell you that Richard supports every Circle student-athlete as if they were one of his own! It is the honor and privilege of our Circle student-athletes to have Richard as one of their greatest fans!
Ladies and gentlemen, tonight’s fan of the week: Richard Ketterman!
