Cold and Flu season is here! As a general reminder:
Students and staff confirmed to have influenza (flu) are required to stay home for
5 days following the first onset of symptoms, or until fever free for 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing agents, whichever is longer, per Kansas regulation. According to the CDC, persons with influenza are considered infectious for 5-7 days after becoming sick. Please notify the office if your child has tested positive to influenza. Refer to the Circle USD 375 Health Policy Guidelines for exclusion and readmission criteria for specific conditions/illnesses.
