Dear 8th Grade Parents,
Yesterday, May 2, 2022, I sent out a communication stating promotion was going to take place in the CMS auditorium. After further consideration, we have decided to adjust the location to Circle High School’s main gymnasium. This modification would allow our students to have more family members present and not put us in a position where we have to limit the audience. Due to logistical reasons, the start time has been changed from 1:00 to 1:30pm.
Promotion May 20th- in CHS Gymnasium at 1:30 PM. No attendance limits.
Parking for promotion- The south parking lot of Circle High School will be reserved for promotion attendees. Circle High School will be in session which means the north parking lot will be full of student vehicles.
Dress for promotion will include a class T-shirt designed and voted on by the 8th-grade class, and jeans- we respectfully ask for no holes in the jeans. There is no cost for the class t-shirt.
Following promotion, 8th-grade students will be dismissed to go home with parents/guardians. Those that do not leave with a parent/guardian will be transported back to CMS to be dismissed.
May 20th will be the last day of school for the 8th-grade students.
